The Unproductive Human Geo Class

Today wasn't a very productive day, but it was still fun.

The first thing we did, while Mr. Schick was out of the classroom, was we discussed water polo and explained what it was.  Water polo is a team water sport with four quarters.  A team consists of six players and one goalie in the water.  You can also have up to six substitute players including up to one substitute goalie.  The teams must try to score goals by throwing a ball into the other team's goal.  It is typically played in all deep pool and you are treading water.  Players need a substantial amount of endurance to play this game.  (Just a little water polo lesson for you from Wikipedia.)

After we had an interesting conversation about water polo, we met our new classmate Rosemary.  Rosemary is a very nice person and I hope we become friends.

While the girls were talking to Rosemary and the boys were playing games on their laptops, Mr. Schick was checking our blogs to make sure we did them, which most of us did.  One of the girls even helped Rosemary get used to the blog.

After Mr. Schick checked all of our blogs, we either talked or started our new blog.
